Channel monitoring for brand manufacturers

See your distribution landscape in one clear picture. Catch grey market and unmanaged sellers. MFLS shows which seller sits at the lowest price most often, while Price Stability, Follower Response and Days to First Match show how the market reacts.

The challenges

Three visibility gaps brand manufacturers face

Most brand manufacturers know their products are listed across many platforms. Few have a clear, current picture of exactly who is doing the listing, on which platforms, and how that landscape is changing from week to week.

Limited visibility into your distribution landscape

Rapid changes across multiple platforms make it difficult to maintain a consistent overview of who is representing your products and where. Key question: what does your digital distribution landscape look like right now?

Unmanaged entities in your channel

Sellers outside your authorised network are active across many European platforms. Without continuous monitoring, their presence is invisible until it becomes a commercial issue. Key question: how many unmanaged sellers are currently active across your digital landscape?

Data that arrives
too late

Manual market research produces a snapshot, not a live view. By the time a channel report is produced, the landscape has already shifted. Days to First Match shows how fast the market reacts, and only current data keeps pace with it. Key question: how many commercial decisions are being made on incomplete or outdated data?
The Questions it answers

What challenges are you currently facing?

Pick the one that matches what you're trying to find out right now.

Who's active and how often are they the cheapest?

Online Mind tracks every seller active on your products across Amazon, MediaMarkt, Fnac, Bol.com, Currys, Best Buy and other marketplaces and retailer platforms worldwide. Beyond who is present, you see who holds the lowest priced position most frequently, per platform and across your whole portfolio.

Presence tells you the shape of your distribution. MFLS tells you where the pressure on your brand value is coming from. Pricing decisions remain with each seller, as required under EU competition law.

Who's active and how often are they the cheapest?

Any seller not present in your authorised partner list is visible in the Online Mind dashboard the moment they appear. You see their platform presence and activity data alongside your authorised partners. You have the information to assess the situation and decide how to proceed. All subsequent decisions remain with you.Pricing decisions remain with each seller, as required under EU competition law.

Who's active and how often are they the cheapest?

Distribution networks rarely stop at one border. Online Mind tracks selleractivity across DACH — Germany, Austria, Switzerland — and wider Europeanmarkets including Benelux, Italy, and beyond.Cross-border activity is visible in the same dashboard as domestic listings,so you have a single, coherent picture of your distribution landscaperegardless of how many markets you operate in.

Questions we get

Common questions about channel monitoring

Got questions about how Online Mind works, what it covers, and whether it's right for your business? Here are the ones we hear most often.
What counts as a grey market or unauthorised seller?
A seller who isn't part of your authorised distribution network, someone selling your product without a direct relationship with you or your approved partners. The dashboard flags these separately from known resellers, so the two questions stay distinct: a known partner with an unusual price, and someone who shouldn't be selling this product through this channel at all.
How exactly is MFLS calculated?
For the timeframe you choose, we check which seller has the lowest listed price at each observation point, then count how often each seller holds that spot. The seller with the highest count is your MFLS for that window. Change the timeframe and the answer can change too, that's the point, it's a pattern, not a single day's snapshot.
Does Online Mind control or influence what a seller charges?
No. The dashboard reports on prices that already exist in the market. It doesn't set, suggest, or communicate a price, and it doesn't take or recommend an action toward a specific seller, including one flagged as grey market or unmanaged. What your team does with the information is your own decision, made independently of us and independently of any single seller's price. Pricing decisions remain with each seller, as required under EU competition law.
Can I monitor sellers outside the EU?
Yes. Monitoring isn't limited to the EU or any single region. Most of our clients are EU-based, so European platforms come up most in this page's examples, but if your product sells somewhere else, tell us and we'll add it.
How is this different from Competitor Overview?
Channel Monitoring looks inward at who sells your products and how they behave. Competitor Overview looks outward at how rival brands are priced against yours. You can use one or both.
